Daily I have the same issues regarding Thai food. I never really know what to order or for that matter how to order it.

I have found a cracking little 'talking' website that will help you decide what you want and teach you how to say your favorite dishes, the site also has an area for handy phrases when out and about...

Milk = nome (also means “breasts” be careful when using)

Banana = koo A (also slang for penis be careful when using)

Clams or shells = Hoy (also slang for vagina be careful)

Noodle Soup = witt tee-o

For travellers on a budget, high-so visitors from the Southern US, and other 7/11 table-squatters:

แมคโดนัลดอยู่ที่ไหนวะ "maak dawn now yuu tii nai wa?" = "Where the f**k is McDonald's?" :teehee:

I live in an area with few restaurants that have menus. I know what I want to eat, but rarely can I say it in Thai. I am trying to learn a few new Thai words each day. This link will help me out.
