Tottenham Manager Sacked!

Tim Sherwood sacked as Tottenham manager

Tottenham have parted company with manager Tim Sherwood after the club finished sixth in the Premier League.

Sherwood, 45, took over from Andre Villas-Boas in December and signed a deal to the end of the 2014-15 season.

"We agreed an 18-month contract with a break clause at the end of the season and we have now exercised that option," said Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.

Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino and Ajax boss Frank de Boer have been linked with the post.

Just stuck a tenner on Uncle Tom Cobbly to be Spurs next manager.

Every middle ranking club that sacks it's boss is going to be linked with David Moyes till he gets a job.

When I saw the headline "Sherwood Gone" in yesterday's paper I must admit I was extremely saddened, deforestation is a terrible thing for the planet.

Don't envy the next man to try to please Levy.

Since he took over in December he has the highest win ratio of a Spurs manager in the Prem ever.

But let's just sack a young English manager in his first job who has done really well.

Should of changed his name to Sherwincho or some foreign sounding name as they all seem to be the rage these days even if they are crap, which many are.
