    Siargao, Davao and Baguio

Imageshack is free You can save photos there and make them public or private. When you want to post images from your account then you just paste in the actual link to a photo and it comes up full size without using forum data

  15. It is just the processing of Visas that will be done in New Delhi Matt. Many large banks use services in India for processing accounts which is uploaded and downloaded back and forth and of course more and more large UK businesses are moving their call centres abroad especially to India It will make no difference to other services, like you say, British in trouble, replacing lost or stolen passports etc It is possible that it may even speed up the Visa process. We will have to wait and see

    Bringing medicines to Thailand

Do you have any problems getting your Meds for OCD here ? Are they as good as the ones prescribed to you by the Maudsley Hospital in UK ? Here is some useful advice here https://healthpsychologyconsultancy.wordpress.com/2013/08/21/the-argumentative-personality/

    Bringing medicines to Thailand

I checked that my prescription medicine has my name on the box and properly labelled and kept the back half of the prescription. As far as I know, even the co-codimol is acceptable. seeing as you can buy it over the counter in Thailand. Did the lady not have a large quantity of Tramadol which were not assigned to her ? I cant remember
  18. It does indeed. I dont disagree with having some form of test, but the questions should be more relevant to today and actually Living in the UK. many of the historical questions have NO relevance to the UK today unless studying history. IMO there are dozens of questions which are irrelevant. What IS relevant, is about living and working in the UK. Our transport system, our system of democracy, our system of government, our system of law, our culture etc etc etc. Let us just imagine for a minute, one of us having to do a Living in Thailand test, all in written Thai, including questions about Thai history going back a number of centuries. I wonder how many would pass ?
  19. Yep, that is true. Lots of people fail the Living in UK test. Some of the questions are ridiculous and dreamed up by a bunch of civil servants. About 70% of them are irrelevant to daily life in the UK and assume that everyone is that the stage where they can read and write English. What many couples end up doing is getting hold of ALL of the possible questions and learn the answers , parrot fashion. They should scrap the LIUK test. My wife did a short City & Guilds course which covered some basic written and spoken exercises and the certificate was in place of the LIUK test. I know some pretty smart Thais in London who failed the test multiple times. It is not essential to know what date the Battle of Hastings was to live in the UK.

    Christmas Dinner Options 2017

I cannot recall ever having a decent Christmas dinner in Thailand. and certainly nothing that compares to UK. But then, Christmas Day feels like any other day to me in Pattaya and because of the heat etc, I am not bothered if I am out there at Xmas and don't have a traditional dinner . Nothing feels like Xmas apart from some of the girls wearing red Santa hats Ebenezer Remus

    here we go again

I reckon a lot of British people would not pass the LIUK test. You should have booked her in for a 3 day course at a small college where they grade you on English language and communication skills with a City & Guilds cert. They accept that as an alternative, well they used to anyway. Cost about £180 when my wife did it. They charge every time you fail the Living in UK test, so it works out cheaper and quicker.

    Ais, true or DTAC

I don't care that much who it is. When I arrive at the airport I just get a package at one of the kiosks which gives me calls and a bit of internet. Most places have wifi these days (hotels, restaurants/bars etc) As long as I can make and receive calls for 3 weeks, I am happy I think I got a TRUE package last time and that was fine. I would like to know whether there is any provider where you can keep your number without topping it up regularly. I end up changing my number every time I visit. Obviously, if I were an expat then I would look into the best deals for a mobile contract
