a few years ago the spfl were not going to grant ibrox a safety cetificate . i agree it was a nice stadium in its day though .

Ibrox is still a fantastic piece of architecture. The bill struth stand is one of the best pieces of architecture in football tbf, its a beautiful piece of design.

ibrox is in a bad state of disrepair . celtic park is only built in 1998 and constantly added to and upgraded ever since .

Celtic Park is a great stadium as is ibrox to be fair. I love old stadiums with a bit of history, beats the soulless concrete bowls we get now ie eithad, Emirates, aviva stadium.

celtic park was named in fifas top 20 stadiums in the world just recently .

The old Celtic Park was a dump but it was majestic, the Jungle was something else. I still believe Thatcher was strongly behind all English clubs getting banned from Europe.

The Stadium is amazing v now, I remember paying at turnstiles early 70s...WIth the corrupt officials in Europe makes you wonder how much more British Clubs would have won ...Banning all due to Heysel was disgrace , Leeds were robbed 75 I think ? Chelsea in 2009 ....Appalling , altered my view of top football ..... Then in the European Cup draws later stages you can call the draws lol ...

  14. Hello, Jim here. have not really been back to Thailand for fun in about 12 years.... I really never paid any attention when I was coming how older guys were treated there by the ladies?????? I am now 60 --- in great shape for 60 and very healthy... But, I am concerned the ladies will not care about going with a 60 year old???? Yeah, I know the saying -- Have money have honey ..... But, what is it really ????????? I have been in PI for the last 12 years and the ladies there do not pay attention to age.... But, I think maybe Thailand is a little different???? any feedback most welcome. I plan to travel in September (if the virus allows). Plan to stay in Pattaya for about three to four months .... Maybe longer????
  15. im at a loss as to why anybody would avoid a bar because of a shit fight on a forum , unless of course it was me the bar owner who was causing the shit fights . the facebook page i simply use as a advertising page for pattaya-live and the rockhouse , i dont feed it content other than that .
  16. I remember how frustrated you used to get with attendance at members meet ups. For what it's worth I think some actually avoided the bar when the forum became dominated by constant shit fights, personal attacks and threats. Add in jealous snidey comments from wannabe sexpats and yeah I can see why you say the board became counter productive. Problem as I see it is that there have been very few genuinely new posters and therefore potentially new customers, perhaps for 3 or 4 years now. Let's face it there is unlikely to be any in the near future either. As a matter of interest Alex, can you quantify how successful the Facebook Pattaya Live page is, does it bring in customers to the Rockhouse?
  17. worked back in the day , but in truth it became counter productive over the years and became a tool for the snides not the bar .
  18. Walking street is going to look much the same after the Coronavirus.
  19. Thats been said for the last 20 years.... zzzzzzzz
  20. Got my cowboy hat looked out ready to go. Rocking up in a cream suit etc
  21. even if Chinese tour groups were back, there wouldn't be much to see if the go-go lights were switched off, no girls outside, no music blaring, no sneaky peeps through the curtains
  22. I'd imagine an easy way to clean some money.
  23. Walking Street dilema seems a no brainer....time for the inevitable redevelopment and arrival of big name Las Vegas Hotel/Casino/Convention Hall!

    • Yangon – Myanmar: 5 days 4 nights
Needed to do a visa run, so used the opportunity to visit Yangon together with Mrs. CampariO and her sister in law.
Applied for an E-visa which arrived 1 day after, the ladies can get a visa exempt at the immigration in Yangon. Booked Air Asia for 2200 Bt/person, drove by car to Don Muang.

Day 1: Flight from BKK to Yangon, Visit Shwedagon Pagoda and park

The terminal 2 is now open

Between terminal 1 and 2 is a large food court with a good choice of eateries.

Checked in online, there is a remark on top of the boarding pass to do the document check (checking the e-visa) which is done in BKK at the gate while in Yangon at the baggage drop.

Since when do they have the flight info in Chinese?

    • Dairy Farming in Thailand
We have a small (54 rai) farm adjacent to Erawan shrine at the border of NBLP and Loei provinces. It is mostly orchards, e.g., Tamarinds, Kefir, Rubber, and Maoberry but last year we started dairy farming with an initial small seed herd of 25 Heifers with a business plan to build it up to 100 milkers within 5 years.

One year into the BP we are at 30 milkers with another 8 coming of age in a few months and a total including calves of 45 with new ones arriving every month ... including the baby bull in brown and white in one of the pictures below. Any way, a few shots from this morning after some early hours helping momma deliver the new guy. Momma has some "splaining" to do ... she's one of the black & whites being chased in another photo and the little guy is brown and white like a longhorn ... maybe momma is getting some strange on the side.

My mate Ziva ... a 5-month old Labrador.

Some of the bovines including new mom and brown-colored stranger

    • Post A Picture Of Your Breakfast, Lunch Or Dinner
As it says. lets see some food pictures.
One of my hobbies is cooking and like to see what others are eating either at home or at restaurants. it gives me ideas what to cook or what to order when out. So lets see some pictures, either home cooked by you or your ladies, or what you have eaten while out.
I'll start with my favourite. Rack of Lamb.

This was last May. When I collected some fresh Asparagus from a local farm and it made a nice dish with pointed cabbage, Jersey Royal potatoes and a very nice mint sauce made with balsamic vinegar. All accompanied with a nice glass of Rioja to wash it all down.
I have a nice lamb rack sitting in the fridge ready for tomorrow night.
