Rock The Sausage

Recommended Posts

Why has none of our Pattaya based food chaps informed us of this new food sensation that has hit town?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmxWOguYVRE

They have a facebook page too

More important they do a couple of German beers too which I believe are Warsteiner and Erdinger.

Sauages & Roll Bratwurst

Anyway you get the idea. Not in the ideal location IMHO but good luck to them.

Have to say the comment on the video about the sausages being 'to die for' may be a reality if the food there becomes a regular part of your diet.

I was going to do a write up, but I've been having Internet problems. I had the bratwurst with sauerkraut and it was very good at 119 baht. The roll was fresh and crispy, which I like. Pics will follow.

Do they deliver? Looks like a tasty snack to enjoy over a couple beers in the Lock.

I hope I haven't become obsessed with sausages, but I did have another good German-style sausage meal at the Brauhaus Restaurant on 2nd Road near the corner of Soi 7.

Rather than start a new thread for the sake of one quick meal, I'll include it here.

I had the daily special (frankfurter with potato salad) for 155 baht. Both the sausage and potato salad were very tasty, no complaints at all.

It's a full-service German restaurant that also serves a variety of Western and Thai dishes. Prices are modest and the restaurant features both indoor and outdoor seating.

Bottom line: I'll be back to try more of the German dishes on the menu.

I've always wondered about this place. Hard to tell decent nationality-based restaurants from a restaurant some bloke set up for his Thai wife, gave a traditional-sounding name to, then abandoned.

Now added to the "to-try" list. :)
