Day Out At Cartoon Network Water Park

Recommended Posts

Earlier in the week we're going, then we weren't, the we we're, then we weren't, 09.30 this morning we're going.

Have to say it was an enjoyable day out but keeping an eye on three kids was hard going, most of our time was spent in the area for kids although I did manage to get on a couple of the grown ups slides. Will go back again but just me and her so we can enjoy it more. Would highly recommend anyone with kids to take them here for a day out, I also recommend it for a day out if you don't have kids.

Price of admission for 3 kids, 3 adults was about 6,500

Taking your own food and drink is not permitted and they search your bags before entering, prices of food and drink once you are in are extremely high, 50 baht for a small bottle of water, 120 baht for an ice cream cone with one scoop of ice cream. She bought three plates of food and there wasn't much change out of 1000 baht.

All in the whole day cost about 9,000 baht

According to the sign, a family of 4 can get in for 3,900 Baht.

How great is Thailand to have multi-tier pricing?

Looks like a good day out.

We have a few world class water parks not too far from us and they are not as expensive as this one. However doesn't matter as you must pay the going rate in the country/city you are in.

Adults are over 13 according to the price chart. That's a new one on me.

We was at Ripleys Believe It Or Not during the week, an adult is anyone above 120cm. I point blank refused to pay adult prices for two kids, she argued with them and got the price down to kids prices.

Agreed, pay the going rate or stay at home doing nothing.

We went last week also, yes it is quite expensive but the kids loved it, wouldn't go every day but will go back again.

It isn't very well organized regarding getting the rafts you need for different rides, and it's a long climb if you get it wrong.

Was fairly busy but not rammed. The biggest ride opens later this month apparently.

My back still hurts.

Your right about which ride requires which raft, seen a few people being turned away once at the top because they never had the right raft. Climbing the stairs was a killer for me as my knees aren't that great.

Another thing worth mentioning is that you are given a wrist band when you pay to enter, you need to go to the welcome centre and get money put on it before you go and buy any food or drink. I wonder how many people forget to get any money left on it back before they leave.

Hopefully just teething problems but you never know with this place. It's not as well organized as other parks I've been to elsewhere.

Must generate some cash though, no idea really but say 500 customers that day, spending a total of 2000 per head with entrance, food and drink. There's a million a day taken in.
