Koh Samed Day Trip.

Recommended Posts

Last year I took a trip to Koh Samed from Pattaya. Booked a touristy day trip through one of the local agents and had a superb day. It is really worth a visit and not too far away. The beach and sea was really clean when I went. The snorkelling was just great. The beaches were really clean but I have heard there was a pollution on there not so long ago unfortunately.

Never thought about Koh Samet as a day trip before. What time do you have to leave in the morning and how long do you get on the island?

Nice pics by the way, thanks.

Hello. The minibus collected us at 7:45 AM and drove us all down to a jetty in Rayong to catch the catarmaran. We sailed all day to different islands and places. The boat had free soft drinks, tea and coffee plus a seafood lunch buffet with fruit. There were loads of seats free as well to stretch out inside and out. There was a minibar as well which was nicely stocked with singha at 70 baht. We arrived back at the jetty to join the minibus home at 5pm and all back in room at around 7pm. A great day out and the boat was a catamaran.

Cheers for that, sounds like a good day out.
