I thought on the A380's the upper deck was all bizz class

Every airline have the spec built to order.

for example Etihad have economy class, business class, first class and the residence. I have flown first class on Etihad for one leg. You get your own room, 7 course meal and can shower on board.

I don't support Muslims or terrorists.

Have you ever flown on a private plane?

Glad to hear it's decent. I'm always interested in how other people live :)

Just joking boss. Hope you enjoy the UK and make the best of it.

I could have used my free business class ticket on BA out of Hong Kong or Seoul but I chose to go standby on Thai in economy when they told me they had 160 seats still available.

Porn and I, on our own, then maybe I would have taken BA but still standby to get to the flight hub. With a 2 year old it is a whole different ballgame. Anybody with young kids would probably appreciate the non stop direct flight.

By the way security at Swampy Thursday was the worst I have ever seen. Took 20 minutes in the queue even before we got to the boarding card check at the bottom of the escalator. They were also using the priority lanes for us mere mortals.

From check in to going through immigration was 80 minutes.

That first Asahi on the flight was nectar.

We were fast as f**k last time, due to having the child with us. Both arriving and departure from swampy was great, ushered through the priority lines at every point, fast as, EVA even ushered us to the HiSo check in line.

Just reading the Thai Air facebook page, people complaining, saying they are getting emails saying the plane for their flight is being changed from an Airbus to 777, and could be issues with their pre-booked seats. Not just the one flight.

This is kinda why I started the thread.

Not good to be honest.

Looks like the 777 is instead of the A350, why, I am not sure.  Keep to the 2125 departure from Heathrow and the 1240 departure from Bangkok and it should be the A380.

Well, it would certainly be the 21.25 departure going, though my main reason for choosing Thai over EVA would be the night flight, 00.20 or whatever time that is, child would sleep a fair bit of it.

Aye, that's what I was reading Sean.

Going by that it's implying it's a temporary thing, though I'm been reading about them stitching back from the Airbus quite a lot.

Odd as I thought the TG 910/911 was a A350 not a A380, never mind.  The use of a 777 is a negative change.
