House For Sale Pattaya Hill 2

Recommended Posts

Well done on the sale. It's all about timing for me. It's exactly the type of house I would want but for around £110,000 when the £/baht rate is right

Yes I am well chuffed, got the 10% deposit already in my bank, buyer is from Macau and will be coming back within 2 months to pay the rest.

The guy is Portuguese but married to a Chinese girl, brought the father in law who did his assessment of Feng Shui and it got approved. Guy also took a video and sent it to his 6 year old daughter who again gave her approval, that sealed the deal.

Well done mate.

Good stuff David, who ever bought it have got a beautiful home,i can vouch for that.

Congrats. Where now Dave?

Cheers guys.

Going to do a few trips around to see where I want to be rooted for the foreseeable future, right now my preference is for Hua Hin (maybe Pranburi) but I will check everything out first.

I have just lost my appetite for Pattaya and especially where I am living. I like a quieter lifestyle and that is not here for me; when I moved in to my house 10 years ago the darkside was just fields, that has all changed, too busy for me.

This has allowed me the freedom that I have craved for a while as buying (in a company name) has become a non option for me, I want to rent and have the ability to cruise rather than be tied down. It also allows me to put some more money offshore which will confirm the security of my future very well.

I am still a bit numbed by it all because as much as it is a beautiful house the number of people viewing wasn't a lot and when they did view they were looking for something cheaper. I just thought in the present economic climate it wouldn't sell but I was wrong and now I have a buyer (deposit paid).

Funny thing is I will probably attend quite a few PL meetings even if I am in Hua Hin, gives me an excuse to be a tourist in Pattaya for a change for a few days.

All I want to do now is win the lottery at the weekend, I am on a roll.

A new place I am looking at 25,000 - 35,000 a month.

My old place would probably have been around 40,000 - 45,000 a month to rent but it was never up for rent although I was offered 50,000 from an American 3 years ago.

Have you considered Rayong?

Been down there Mike and for now it is not for me. I think I will get across the other side of the gulf for a while. Renting allows you a lot of freedom.

nice to hear you have sold, someone has a great home.

Nice on Dave best of luck wherever you decide on moving to.

Cheers guys, I am well chuffed.

Sitting here thinking of all my options is such a stress-less task, it is great.

The guy will get a great house but it has offered me the opportunity I have been looking at for a long time and that was not to be tied down. I bought the house with my ex wife and moving on closes the last door on that time in my life. Porn will be happier as those demons are exorcised.

As I have said, have case will travel. I have always liked the idea of having the suitcase in the corner and picking it up anytime I like. God I might get like Galee and just drop everything and take an impromptu holiday once in a while. Wherever I am I will still try and make a party or live meeting every few months, that's for sure.

Good on ya mate.

Hope you'll pencil July 17th to come up to Bangers for the Chelsea game !!

Possibility but presently the 16th/17th are the dates the Macau guy Luis is coming to give me a cashiers cheque for the remaining dosh!

Forgot about Chelsea playing Bangkok. Might treat myself if I get up there, maybe on the way to Hua Hin. LOL

Glad you sold it and hope all went well with the balance of the sale/ papers etc...

Seems that you liked Hua Hin then as I would def move over there, had nearly enough of Patts myself as all changed now from 12yrs ago since bought my house there up on the dark side.

Picking final cashiers cheque up Thursday. Just woke up on my first morning living in Hua Hin, really happy. Bed so comfortable, house so cool. Love it. Really happy to have made the move. Off for breakfast at the 'All in' deli and then onto Makro. Cheers

A good choice of location and might be heading out that way soon myself as visited 3 times and prefer its beaches and clean sois just to name a few things.

House/ condo prices little bit more exp than Patts from what I saw at the time but lots under construction and would rent till get the lie of the land so to speak.

All the best and was nice meeting you at the Rocky, even though you're a chelski fan lol
