Currency Exchange Rate On The Street Today

Recommended Posts

Pound hit 1.49 to the $ on Friday, down 2 cents on the day. Think the Pound against the baht will go down on Monday and I hope it does. I need to change some money into pounds shortly and I would like to see a week pound.Could be a few thousand pound difference for me over the last few weeks when the pound hit the roof against the baht.

Just glad I exchanged Aussie's to baht a month ago. If I was smart I would have bought US$ and then exchanged to baht a bit later, would have netted 1000's more baht spending money.

Ah 20/20 hindsight.

Ah 20/20 hindsight.

:smiling:

I thought about it at the time but didn't think it was possible without a US bank account. Afterwards I learned my currency trader will take the trade and hold it in their own account, then you can trade it back out later to your own account in another currency.

It was pretty obvious the US$ was on the way up.

I checked several exchange booths in Jomtien on the 16th of July; they rate ran from Kasikorn 30.57 up to TT which was 30.97. I used the TT booth just before you get to Jomtien beaches road on your right as you come from Pattaya.
