Grand Carribean Condo Jomtien

Recommended Posts

Have seen the adverts and posters around town for while now about this condo project and noticed big offices on thappraya road.

Is it yet another off plan condo project with fancy computer related inages??

Have they started building yet and are they just more shoeboxes aimed at the Russian market??

Any info and feedback would be appreciated

They have started to build it, looks like they are well on but as you know in Thailand building could stop any day.

Just had a look at the website.

Three types of units available.

Type A 34.5 sqm

Type B 69 sqm

Type C 93.5 sqm

There are a total of 1,064 units available. That's a lot of units to shift and I'd be very surprised if all were sold.

Prices start from 1.89 million baht.

No mention on the website of completion date!!!

There certainly are some bargains to be had, seems the older the building the bigger the condo.

Thx very much for the info and pics chaps!!

Don't think the owners or renters in Chateau Dale will be happy having a huge construction nxt door!! What an eyesore!!

As thought shoeboxes at ridiculous prices...

As mentioned above and my thoughts are the same as the older condos are better value and prob better constructed i.e the view talays and baan suan lalana etc...

With so many condo projects going around I don't think quality will be at the top of the list!!

VTs are single skin and hot solar gain, some are cheap the old condo blocks one and two, 5,6 and 7 are expensive ., but they retain their values or have so far, noisy but ok for what you pay... The good thing wis in VT there is something for all budgets..

Ok thx CT on the info

Known that VT1 is cheap as the 1st of the VT's and stayed in VT2B for several mths and very popular but the walls were thin as could hear the tv n music and shagging when the next door units were rented out on short term holiday lets.

VT2 now asking silly prices but the rooms are decent sizes and minimum to live in...how you're supposed to live in a 26m shoebox unless your a wee fellow beggars belief???

Am slumming it in VT7 this time as got friend that's letting me have studio at good price...looks classier though.

The price for the smallest units (A) are crazy, but the reality is they want you to buy two or three units and knock them into one (B&C) to become a liveable space.

Isn't it more a resort?

Sounds like a place where I would hate live

Ice creams Ice creams..................

It certainly does have more of a resort theme, not for me either thanks.
