McGregor who is the man who makes it happen for us in midfield at left back, shocking decision. Terrible result though and a lot of the blame is on the board again. Once again waiting to see if we qualified for the group stages before spending money.

Good performance today in a 5-2 win away to Motherwell.

Nice chunk of change, let's just hope Lennon is now able to go out and buy a few players. "Celtic plc confirms it has agreed to permanently transfer the registration of Kieran Tierney to Arsenal Football Club for a record single amount of £25m."

I'll be more than happy if the EPL transfer window shuts and we still have Callum Mcgregor. Not sure when European transfer windows shut though so still a possibility he could go, I certainly hope not. I'd say he'll also miss the fans.

Not a great video but best I can find right now. 1-1 Away from home is decent result, I fully expect us to finish this tie off at home.

It hasn't, he's a Celtic fan living the dream. Any time he wasn't playing he'd be in the stands with his mates.

Absolutely. Four SPL titles, two Scottish Cups and two Scottish League Cups, not a bad haul for a 22 year old.

Scott Brown all day long, its what he does best.

Yesterday is how i want to see Celtic play, its the Celtic way. September 1st at castle grayskull is the first game against that lot.

Under Brendan Rodgers it was built from the back, if there was no forward pass is was pass it back, there was no forward pass because he wouldn't let players push on and make themselves available. Yesterday was a whole new style of play from Lennon.

As you know its always been there but it just wasn't the way BR set us up to play. I wasn't happy with Lennon getting the job full time, thought it was a step backwards but he won me over yesterday. Yesterday was what we as Celtic supports want from our team, win but win with style and flair.

So yesterday was the league opener and flag day. Outstanding performance from start to finish. Lennon came in when Rodgers left and pretty much kept the way the team playing the same, which I think was very wise. That performance yesterday though was very much not only the Lennon way but the Celtic way of playing football.

  14. Beat last night 3-0 by the mighty footballing nation of Kazakhstan. This is certainly a new low for Scotland. Next up on is San Marino, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they beat us.
  15. Everton have spent £378 million on players in the last three years which has got them from 11th to 9th https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-6717711/Farhad-Moshiri-spent-300m-Everton-11th-ninth.html To many clubs are just becoming a play thing for billionaires.
  16. Certainly left it late last night but job done.
  17. In the here and now I think its probably a good move as he knows exactly what's required and I firmly believe that the senior players, who know him very well, would have been asked about how they felt about him coming back. Two very big games for him to start off with, away to Hearts tonight, then away to Hibs on Sunday in the Scottish cup QF.
  18. As I said earlier when the relationship between the chief executive and the manager breaks down there will only be one outcome. The lack of any sort of comment from the players is very telling though.
  19. An interesting observation One factor was missing from Brendan Rodgers’ departure from Celtic for Leicester City- best wishes or thanks from any of the players he left behind. Social media reactions are a regular feature as managers move on but there wasn’t a single message posted on line from the Celtic players. In his cringe-worthy departure message Rodgers described the players glowingly claiming ‘Every one of them will be a friend for life.’ It seems that that sentiment isn’t two way.
