  1. Well, 2-2, done and dusted, enough to give the Foxes the title.
  2. Indeed, perhaps best to get a table looking inwards rather than outwards.
  3. If I may be allowed to stretch the limit by 20 Baht, La Petite Planete by Tukcom has a daily three course special at 320 Baht. The fact that it's three courses actually makes it better value than some of the above. I had the Chicken Liver Pate for starters The Pork in Mustard Sauce with Fries as the main. Finished with the Lemon Sorbet (+shot of Vodka for 35 Baht) strangely enjoyable I also had two glasses of red wine, and two bottles of water, as the day was hot as feck and I had walked there, but on top of the 320 Baht for the meal, my total bill ran out at 575 Baht, incredibly good value methinks.
  4. I went for the Smoked Salmon Pizza special too, and a Banoffi Pie for afters
  5. Yes, that bastard huge black coq kept waking me at 4:30 a.m.
  6. Sorry, I have an aversion to black coq. I love the Bite Me Bistro, great food, great value, but not sure I could eat that one.
  7. Excellent report as always. Good value for money dining area, would be more popular with me personally if it wasn't for the 'shirt lifters' that profilerate the area, however, despite my paranoia I look forward to giving this place (and next door) a visit in May when my days will be free.
  8. Certain to give it a go on Friday if I make the meet up.
  9. Yes, my Windows 10 Boot Disc (C:Drive) is a 500GB Solid State Drive.
  10. Go small, you can now get the pocket sized My Passport in sizes up to 3TB, but the future is portable SSD (Solid State) Drives, right now only 500 GB size but you know it won't be long before that increases.
  11. Yes, he is also turning the upper floor above the Bistro into a production kitchen turning out ready cooked meals for takeaway/freezing.
  12. Tremendous value, 490 Baht for 3 Courses and a glass of Wine (or Beer or Soft Drink included) There was an Aussie in there that was so impressed he literally licked his plate clean!
  13. Well, it's a classic Beetle, they are small, most classics are a fraction of the size of modern motors, we just remember them as bigger from our youth.
  14. Walked out of my house yesterday and found this little beauty parked across the street, I give you the Rolls-Wagen. Beautifully finished, great job, I love stuff like this.
  15. Looks lovely, probably never find it though.
  16. Yes, they have taken over the premises in Soi Chaiyapruek where Western Foods used to be.
  17. My buddy and his wife are running the London Pie stall at Burapha this wekend, opposite the main stage, I am going this afternoon to stock up, oh, and look at some bikes, birds and classic cars. Aussie pies are made differently to British Pies, so comparisons are difficult.
  18. I enjoyed Manami on Third Road, sadly now closed, I will look up and try to visit the Tsunami Sushi place, Japanese places seem to open and close at will, with the exception of the one in Soi Yamoto, I think Evil Penevil once did a report on a place in Soi 3 that he enjoyed?
  19. Bit of a 'draw' specialist throughout his Management career there Clive, not sure the Manure faithful(?) would be too enamoured of Mark Hughes as Manager.
  20. But maybe the 'tradition and history' of Manure over Citeh will have some clout in the decision, or am I just a romantic dreamer?
  21. It's time for The Grim Reaper to make another appearance at Old Trafford. Love this photo.
  22. A bidding war over Pep, let's see who has the deepest pockets.
  23. Indeed, but my theory is that Manure will gazump City and lure Pep to Old Trafford, and they can't have him until the end of the season, Jose will wash up at City when Pellegrini is hooked.
  24. And would you trust Ryan Giggs for half a season if Van Gaal gets hooked now?
