    Burapa Bike Week 2016

I was at all their BF gigs. Never missed one. They were so good and raunchy (musically) back then. Guitar smacked you hard. Many hits but consistently sucked since then, in my opinion. Those were some fine days at BF for me. Happy Valentine Tao....

    Burapa Bike Week 2016

Ron Thal/Bumblefoot plays every year for the last 4 years. While he's undoubtedly a friend of the Jester's, any guess what is his fee? Flight and hotel? I'm guessing he sets up guitar clinics in other Asian cities while he's in the area. As someone who has paid many artists, what do you think davethailand?

  11. https://www.onbnews.com/post/40769 Dutch tourist drug and abuse claims all a misunderstanding - he was blind drunk!!! A Dutch tourist has apologized to the Pattaya police after he claimed he had drugs planted on him, was abused and was extorted out of 40,000 baht. He also claimed a French volunteer cop was involved in the extortion. He told the cops in Pattaya yesterday that he had found his money in his wardrobe. He thought he had put it in his hotel room safe but he was mistaken. His ATM cards were also in place. After he realized his mistake he went back to the Pattaya police fearing he might be charged with something like wasting police time. But it was all smiles when he apologized. He said that he was very drunk and got it all completely wrong. It was accepted that he had been released without harm after no drugs were found on him during a search when his motorbike was stopped in the early hours of Monday morning. The tourist has now left the area and is continuing with his holiday in Thailand, reported ONB News who published a picture of a smiling Pattaya station chief Pol Col Apichai Krobpetch.

  14. A Dutch tourist has accused police in Pattaya of planting drugs on him. Pieter Van Weele, 48, told reporters how he was returning from a night out in Pattaya when he was stopped in the early hours of the morning by two police on motorbikes. When he was on his way back to his hotel, Mr Weele said that he had taken a motorbike taxi and stopped at a local store where he was stopped by the two plain clothes officers. Mr Weele alleges that the officers confiscated his bag and phone and quick search suddenly produced a small bag containing white powder. The officers then arrested Mr Weele and took him to the police station. Mr Weele, who admitted to be drunk, denied the bag containing the white powder was his and told the officers he had no idea where it came from. Mr Weele, then claims that he was taken to a private room at the police station where he was pushed kneed in his testicles. Mr Weele also claimed that volunteered a sample of urine which was found not to contain drugs. The Dutchman then alleged that a “farang French guy” who works for Pattaya police told him any charges would be dropped if he paid him 100,000 baht. Mr Weele claims that he went back to his hotel room with the “farang French guy” where he gave him 40,000 baht in cash before returning to the police station to collect his phone. He also said that officers kept his ATM card that was stored in the case of his phone. Senior officers are said to be investigating the claims of Mr Weele. The Dutchman spoke to local reporters after leaving the police station. Source: Ruk Siam News
