Maleez Lodge hotel still there and nothing to do with Retox. Retox breakfast in Lengkee is great value but not cooked fresh. My favourite is in Nickys.

Under 300 Baht ... And Good!

I am no Retox fanboy, but Queens Arms have some really cheap and tasty specials everyday.

Nice review Evil, I have had brekkie there a few times when I want a change. Medium breakfast in Nickys at 165 baht is very good too, fully loaded, 2 slices of bread / toast, and you get 2 cups of tea.

    Buakao Bistro on Soi Bukhao

Nice review. I eat there once, food was agreeable, just felt the venue was a little noisey at that junction. Not very relaxing.

    Dubai Creek.

lol my thought too. It had just opened when i stayed there, and the room was brand spanking new. There was a link to another hotel that had a disco in with Philippine band and some freelancers, but that was shut during my stay unfortunately for renovation. Daytime temperatures were reaching 48 degree celsius, now i know why a lot of arabs flee the Middle East at that time of the year.Ramadan started halfway through my trip. But it was free stop-over on the way back to London !

    Dubai Creek.

Great pics. I stayed at the Melia Hotel in Dubai 3 years, had a Michelin Star Indian restaurant there, lovely food. Only Arab person i met was at the immigration counter lol
  20. I went there last October for a week. Its a nice place, but not only do they want to improve the infrastructure but they want to control the the number of visitors. With direct flights coming in from Taiwan that seems unlikely.

    It's true- Pattaya has a "beach"....of sorts...

Good to be back in Pattaya ) was away diving in Micronesia for a little while. No internet, no tv signal, and no OJ in the mornings. BJ's ? you can forget that too, the locals there make the chubbies in Pattaya look anorexic ))
