Although not technically a derby Liverpool v Man Utd would be my second biggest game in the British calendar.

Nothing compares to the old firm. The biggest derby in the world bar none.

Ofc I'm biased here but the tyne-wear derby is the most intense derby in the UK bar the old firm.

Scummers and the skates may not get headlines but there is a fierce hatred between them that goes beyond football.

Southampton and Portsmouth for those who don't know.

Celtic and Rangers are out on their own. Nothing in Britain comes close for pure and utter hatred.

Utd and Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal, Falkirk and Dunfermline.

Spurs and arsenal? No way.

Very few London derbies actually have a bit of spice to them.

Lived in London for five years, the city is too big for a derby feel.

The quality of football might be better but the raw hatred, passion and atmosphere doesn't compare to other derbies.

Like I said nobody touches Rangers and Celtic for that element.

I was at Highbury when Arsenal  beat Spurs 3-1 , Ian Wright was hanging out of the   changing room window singing "We beat the scum 3-1 "

Some of the big European derbies are tasty, the Belgrade derby in particular.

Would love to see one.

Elf and safety killed the atmosphere at British derbies.

They're nasty, but Pars v Raith Rovers has more at stake for locals.

Bairns v Airdrie used to be a bit of a grudge match in the 80’s and 90’s also.
