Used to be.Did the car thing, the spur of the moment flash holidays or weekends away, clothes, watches etc etc.If I saw something I thought I wanted,I bought it.No thought just buy. Many years ago I went out to top end supermarket here.In lobby of the shopping center, downtown Orchard road, there was a stand with a guy playing a piano .It was a music shop doing a promo offering lessons and various musical instruments .For what ever reason the sound coming from this guy playing just completely encapsulated me and I promptly went to the sales guy and bought the piano. After it was delivered I paid for lessons.Went to one ,went home to practice, and never went back and never attempted to play it again.Just sat there in my living room .Sold it years later for next to nothing.Never made it to the supermarket that day either. With a family much more sensible over the last 14 years .Still travel up the front even with the family these days when flying, but all the bells and whistles I don't do anymore.Family well being and future comes first.

If you see an ex member from here with his camera. Round his neck near the play ground best calling the local police. 700,000b is that what the small units are fetching or just feeling the market.

If you can’t see it’s a sad place to stay in that’s your problem, it’s tiny and depressing... It’s just a bit of fun , this is one of the bedrooms ... hopefully the spray will keep your sort away ...

well the tv in your pic looks 1986 model,im sure you only bought that size because it was the only size that might fit in your cupboard size room . your sofa i think might have been the prototype for the infamous blue bit pass stained sofa of new plaza fame . the fold away 24 inch circular table fills the room up , dont need comment any further on that . the furniture was worth about 12,000 b new many years ago ,its now just fire wood . yes i see you said you changed the tv . makes little difference ,ive got 2 or 3 flat screen tvs in my cupboard too . like i said , i didnt believe westerners lived in places like that these days . maybe really poor people but back about 1970 .

Earlier this month spent 5 nights in the medieval old city. Its 4 forts connected together by long walls you can walk around. Inside is built up with shops, restaurants, museums, churches etc . They have repaired the damage from the Yugoslav bombing in 1991. BA ticket was only £80 return from Gatwick. I was surprised how modern the country was, more like Switzerland than a cheap Balkan country. Restaurants were a little pricey, but the local beers were cheap 🍻 and good

You just need to put in Brexit in the search function Mathew, theres pages of the stuff, I think everyone is sick to death of the word

I've not got a lavish life style as some, not my thing, I do like for convenience having 2 cars, one hardly moves just sits outside the house, but for £20 a year road tax, it can stay there, stops the halfwits from parking on the grass verge (a pet hate of mine ). Not bothered with new phones while the old one works that does for me, still on a ropey Samsung S6, my indulgence is traveling, that I am greedy of, tomorrow is promised to no one, live for today, things are just that things, I'm jealous of no one who has more than i do

If anyone needs a rental condo, I could rent this out now and hold off on the sale. Either way is OK with me.

Two times, you are posting this ....Is this Your idea of a funny joke ?? In the 8 years I lived in Nirun, I could count on one hand how many times I saw a bug in m condo. It's all about keeping the room clean and NOT leaving food laying around. Slobs will always have bug problems.

Are you really a bargirl? Rooms sometimes give people away and I think you have been sussed. Is it a colour TV, might be interested in that if the price is right.
  33. 1 point
Yes, they are small condos but when I lived there for 8 years I enjoyed it. It's not for everyone.
  34. 1 point
50% of the 2,000 condos are owned by farangs so it's not so hard to believe. Many use these low priced condos for when they visit a few times each year and feel it is foolish to tie up a lot of money for a condo they will only be in 2-3 months each year.

i see people in restaurants here holding the phones right up to their faces trying to read an incoming message, some phones have a zoom function, or i screenshot the message and zoom in on the photo. I know not to take my glasses with me when i go bar-hopping, they would soon end up broken.......

Here's what I think...Mobile phones and especially contracts have always been a source of amusement to me. People pay £50 - £60 or more per month for phones they walk down the street holding, or plonk down on a pub or restaurant table that shouts out look at me look at my phone! It's got bells whistles take multi pics that i never look at again, calls are in stereo and texts in 3D. Alas my old Blu has calls in mono only, texts in SD, altho both unlimited and only 1gb of data of which I use less than half. BT charge me a fiver a month which I find is cool.Oh it does take pics when needed, rarely. Messed about on a bike when I was a lad, loved the smell of Castrol R in the mornings, but decided semi-rural Lancashire cobbles not conducive to biking. Have to admit that when I motor to the West Coast or up to The Great Glen I do admire the multitude of bikes one sees these days. I suppose my car is my one possession that could be described as materialistic, but my prized bit of kit has to be the Tag cutters that enable me to move about undetected, the cat like his new collar so a double bonus. I suppose in the end one man's luxury is another's necessity......

Some eejit sat boring the trunks off me about all his money. I knew he was full of the brown stuff and finished my drink went to check bin and he done the same. His bin was 700b and he started kicking off and threatening to smash the place up. Laughable.
