  1. There's nothing in the article so say they did. The offences were in the UK and they were arrested at the request of the UK police.

Under 300 Baht ... And Good!

18 Coins restaurant operations moved across the road a couple of years to what was Maleez and became just The Coins. That's since been taken over again and is now The Queen's Arms (Retox Group). Original 18 Coins is still there but might not bear any resemblance to what you remember.
  3. Xcyte Disco? That's long gone. The Batman one is still standing but not around there.

Emirates considers hand baggage only fares

easyJet have no weight limit on cabin baggage, as long as you can lift it yourself. Ryanair is still two bags but they'll take your second one off you at the gate and put it in the hold if you've not paid extra. The airports forced all the airlines to allow a bag of airport shopping on board with you, which you can use creatively to increase your allowance if you need to. Buying an extra legroom seat can give you another bag that might work out cheaper than paying for the bag itself - you've got to keep on top of the rules though as you can get stung if you get it wrong.

    Etihad Airways $1.52 billion loss

I think that's the bank doing that following the rise in interchange fees. The bank paid the airline for the miles thay gave away and have now decided they can't afford to. MBNA also announced they're pulling the Emirates card next month.

Do you like a good curry?

Count me out. I just can't eat curry despite several attempts.
  7. Is this Showbox the movie app you put on my Minix Box when i got it? If so, it's just updated on there to Version 5.05

Top 5 British derbies for rivalry

They're nasty, but Pars v Raith Rovers has more at stake for locals.

    Manchester to Bangkok

I cashed in my Etihad miles last week due to them pulling out of Edinburgh. Pre-loaded credit card worth £70 and I'd only ever had two cheap as chips flights with them. Worth looking at if the miles are going to be wasted otherwise.

    wizz air anybody

They've been around for several years now, and I've used them a couple of times both some time back. Tend to agree they're a regular low cost airline so always check the small print and look at the final cost before booking.

    Premium Economy class

I got similar treatment a few times, but unfortunately they changed the rules about a year and a half ago and those paying more for their ticket went to the front of the upgrade queue rather than those with Skywards Status. They reversed it slightly since then so Platinum members are now first, irrespective of fare/ticket type, but Golds with cheaper tickets are now behind everyone with the more expensive tickets.

Still a few running. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/hs-tga Looks like Tokyo, Sydney, Munich at least.

    Thai Air

TG910/911 is currently a 777 and TG916/917 (the late evening departure from LHR) an A380. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/tg917 Although this is temporary and should swap from the 19th April according to this: https://www.routesonline.com/news/38/airlineroute/277595/thai-airways-international-marapr-2018-a380-service-changes/ I wouldn't rely on a particular aircraft type as an A350 was also supposed to be used at some points.

    koh samui

I'm not sure Thai have ever flown from Pattaya to Koh Samui. It used to be Bangkok Airways only. Thai fly there from BKK.
  15. Now that's the sort of place I could spend a lot of time in.
