  1. if you go down the rental option, I would adjust rent to include the Nirun service fee, tenants in Pattaya pay utilities like water, electric and tv/internet. The Juristic service fee is the legal responsibility of the unit owner.
  2. its a good location there, know a couple of thai girls that live there too.......
  3. 26m includes the balcony, internal space will be even less.........seen thai apartments people living 14-18m but for most foreigners its going to do their head in
  4. Earlier this month spent 5 nights in the medieval old city. Its 4 forts connected together by long walls you can walk around. Inside is built up with shops, restaurants, museums, churches etc . They have repaired the damage from the Yugoslav bombing in 1991. BA ticket was only £80 return from Gatwick. I was surprised how modern the country was, more like Switzerland than a cheap Balkan country. Restaurants were a little pricey, but the local beers were cheap 🍻 and good
  5. Thailand with its amazing food scene, should be known as the Kitchen of the World, not the Brothel of the World......
  6. going to stick to my rose-tinted glasses 😜
  7. you are right, too old to be fiddling with contacts lens these days, will persevere with glasses, girls in Pattaya are only getting bigger these days, not difficult to see them 😹
  8. chatted to a few people here who have had eye surgery, but there was a story of one person who was blinded as well, imagine walking the streets of Pattaya blind 😳, gaping holes everywhere etc............. having said that in Pattaya a few people are blind to whats going on around them 🤔
  9. i see people in restaurants here holding the phones right up to their faces trying to read an incoming message, some phones have a zoom function, or i screenshot the message and zoom in on the photo. I know not to take my glasses with me when i go bar-hopping, they would soon end up broken.......
  10. I used to worship my first car, it was just a second-hand Toyota Corolla, our relationship went tits up when a salesman in a Ford Scorpio rear-ended me, and the insurance company bodged the repair, when it rained the boot let in water. These days I like to have a decent phone, but probably my most prized possession is my reading glasses, can't read fook all without them 😰
  11. hookers, lot cheaper in Pattaya than rural Herts
  12. the Slovenian lads didn't acquit themselves well, being ripped off by the same ladyboy twice 😳 and the Tajikstan lady, I could see why her boyfriend was hiding in the disco
  13. it was kind of sad seeing the kind of people visiting Thailand, and the state they are in when they are drunk 😩
  14. last 10 years has been good, great time living in Pattaya and travelling in SE Asia............somehow I don't think the next 10 years will be the same looking at exchange rates, demographic changes in Pattaya.........getting down to the last hole on my belt too, so something is going to give soon 😁
